Vector wanted to improve the customer experience for new connection clients to try and make estimating quicker, easier, and more flexible, as well as reducing the cost of providing estimates.
Solution
TestIntel integrated all the complex GIS information, business criteria, and data involved in Vector’s estimation process, to create a simple automated tool. This tool allowed customers to get a quote by simply typing their address and selecting the location on their property where they required a connection. The tool’s mobile responsive capabilities also allowed estimates to be created in the field. Average response times were reduced from several days to seconds, and calls to the call center were reduced by 90%.
